These Terms of Service govern your use of the Marqeting app and website at marqeting.io, operated by Marqeting Lda. Be decent, don't break the app, don't use it for abuse. The rest of this page is the version your lawyer will ask for.

About Marqeting
Marqeting (“Marqeting,” the “App,” the “Service”) is a content platform that generates marketing content in your brand voice and helps you publish it to social media (Instagram, TikTok) and to your own website (WordPress, Webflow, Ghost, Shopify). These Terms apply to all use of the Marqeting application.
Agreement
By creating a Marqeting account or using the Marqeting app, you agree to these Terms. If you're using Marqeting on behalf of an organization, you're agreeing on their behalf.
Your Marqeting account
- You're responsible for the activity that happens under your Marqeting account.
- You'll keep your sign-in link private and let us know if you think it's been compromised.
- You'll provide accurate information when we ask for it (email, billing, workspace ownership).
Acceptable use
Don't use the Marqeting app to:
- Generate content that impersonates a real person to deceive others.
- Generate misinformation, spam, or content designed to harm.
- Reverse-engineer or scrape Marqeting at volumes that degrade the app.
- Resell Marqeting's generation capacity to third parties as a platform. (Generating for your own clients is fine.)
Content you paste into Marqeting
You retain ownership of your writing samples, drafts, brand profiles, and generated output stored in Marqeting. You grant Marqeting the licenses needed to run the app on your behalf: store your data, process it through Marqeting's LLM providers, render it in the Marqeting interface, export it when you ask, and transmit it to platforms you connect (Instagram, TikTok, WordPress, Webflow, Ghost, Shopify) on your explicit instruction. Marqeting does not claim copyright over what you generate.
Content Marqeting generates
Generated text and imagery is produced by large language models and image models based on your fingerprint and prompt. Marqeting doesn't guarantee it will be accurate, original, or suitable for any particular use — review before publishing. You're responsible for any content you choose to publish through Marqeting.
Third-party platform integrations (TikTok, Instagram, and others)
When you connect a TikTok account to Marqeting, your use of TikTok through the Marqeting app is also governed by TikTok's own Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. Marqeting acts as your agent in calling TikTok's APIs on your behalf — we never act on TikTok in a way you didn't explicitly direct from inside Marqeting. The same applies to every other connected platform: Instagram (Meta Platforms Terms), WordPress, Webflow, Ghost, Shopify. You're responsible for complying with those platforms' terms when you use Marqeting to publish to them. Marqeting can't be liable for actions a third-party platform takes against your account.
You can disconnect any third-party platform from Marqeting at any time from the integrations settings page. Disconnecting revokes Marqeting's access token and stops all future API calls to that platform.
Fees and cancellation
Marqeting's paid plans are billed monthly or annually. You can cancel any time from your Marqeting account — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled case-by-case; email support@marqeting.io.
Suspension and termination
Marqeting may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or threaten the integrity of the app. Where possible we'll give notice and a chance to remedy. On termination you can export your data for 30 days.
Warranties
The Marqeting app is provided “as is.” Marqeting works hard to keep it up but doesn't guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or fitness for any specific use case. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Marqeting's total liability for any claim is capped at the fees you paid Marqeting in the previous 12 months.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Marqeting Lda. is registered. Disputes are resolved there unless local consumer law requires otherwise.
Changes
Marqeting will update these Terms when we change our practices. Material changes are announced in-app and by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Marqeting app after that means you accept the revised Terms.
