Delete your data, any time.
Your writing, your fingerprint, your drafts, your connections — all deletable. Two paths: a one-line email, or a self-serve button in the app. Either way the outcome is the same.

Self-serve deletion
Sign in, go to Settings → Danger zone → Delete workspace. You'll be asked to confirm by typing your workspace name. One click after that removes everything.
Self-serve deletion arrives in the next update. Until then, email us using the path below — same result, we're just the middle step.
By email
Send a short note to privacy@marqeting.io from the email address on your Marqeting account. Something like:
Please delete my Marqeting account and all associated data.
We reply within one business day to confirm receipt, and complete the deletion within seven days. You don't need to give a reason. If you want one specific thing deleted (a sample, a brand profile, a draft) rather than everything, say so in the email.
What gets deleted
- Your user account (email, sign-in identities)
- Every workspace you own, and everything inside it:
- Brand profiles, voice fingerprints, voice forks, writing samples
- All generated drafts (kept and dismissed)
- Scheduled content items, calendar entries, library items
- Connected social accounts and their OAuth tokens
- Uploaded brand assets (logos, mascots, reference images)
- Product usage events tied to your user
- Workspaces you're a member of (not owner): your membership is removed but the workspace and its content stay. Workspace owners get a notification.
Backups
Our database backups roll over on a 30-day window. Your deleted data is purged from live systems within 7 days; backup copies are overwritten within 30 days. After that, it's gone from every system we control.
Social platform data
If you connected Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, or X, we only ever held OAuth tokens — never scraped your posts or followers. Deleting your Marqeting account removes those tokens immediately, which is equivalent to revoking our app. If you also want to remove us from the social platform's end:
- Instagram / Facebook: facebook.com/settings?tab=business_tools
- LinkedIn: Settings → Data privacy → Other applications → Remove
- TikTok: Settings → Security → Manage app permissions
- X: Settings → Security → Apps and sessions → Connected apps
What we keep, and why
Two narrow exceptions, both legal:
- Billing records — if you paid us, we're required to keep invoice records for seven years under standard accounting/tax rules (UK / EU / US). This is your invoice history, not your content. The Stripe customer ID is anonymised after account deletion.
- Fraud and abuse signals — if your account was terminated for abuse, we keep the email hash and IP range for six months to prevent re-signup with the same credentials.
