Your writing is yours.
This Privacy Policy describes how Marqeting (operated by Marqeting Lda., “we,” “us,” or “the App”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Marqeting app at marqeting.io. Plain-English version: we don't sell your data, we don't train shared models on it, and you can export or delete it at any time.

About Marqeting
Marqeting is a content platform that generates marketing content in your brand voice and helps you publish it to social media (Instagram, TikTok) and to your own website (WordPress, Webflow, Ghost, Shopify). This Privacy Policy applies to all use of the Marqeting application and website.
What Marqeting collects
When you create a Marqeting workspace we store your email address, the workspace name, and the writing samples you paste in to train your voice fingerprint. Marqeting stores drafts you generate, your keep/dismiss decisions, and the scheduled content items you create. Marqeting also stores basic product telemetry (which pages you visit, which features you use) so we can understand how the app is being used.
What Marqeting doesn't do
- Marqeting doesn't sell your data.
- Marqeting doesn't train shared models on your writing — your fingerprint is private to your workspace.
- Marqeting doesn't use your drafts to improve other customers' generation.
- Marqeting doesn't share your content with third parties except as needed to deliver the app (LLM API, email sending, analytics, social platforms — listed below).
TikTok integration (Marqeting app)
When you connect a TikTok account to the Marqeting application, we use TikTok's OAuth flow to obtain an access token scoped to your account. We use the token only to provide the features you opted into:
- Listing your TikTok videos (scope:
video.list) — Marqeting reads the title, description, view/like/comment/share counts, and public share URL of videos you own. This populates analytics and helps Marqeting suggest content gaps. - Reading public comment text (scope:
comment.list) — when present, Marqeting fetches up to 50 recent comment texts per video to generate a sentiment score. Comment text is stored in your workspace and never shared with other Marqeting customers. - Publishing videos (scope:
video.publish) — when you approve a draft inside Marqeting, we upload the corresponding video to your TikTok account on your behalf. - User profile (scope:
user.info.basic) — display name, avatar, and TikTok open ID, used to label the connected account inside Marqeting's settings.
Marqeting does not share TikTok data we receive with any third party other than the providers listed under “Who Marqeting shares with.” Marqeting does not use TikTok data for advertising. You can disconnect a TikTok account at any time from Marqeting's integrations settings — disconnecting deletes the access token and stops all future TikTok API calls. The Marqeting application's use and transfer to any other app of information received from TikTok APIs will adhere to the TikTok Developer Terms of Service, including the Usage Policies.
Instagram integration
When you connect an Instagram Business or Creator account, Marqeting uses Meta's Graph API to read public post data (likes, comments, captions), comment text for sentiment scoring, and to publish images / videos to your Instagram account on your behalf. The same data-handling rules above apply: tokens are stored server-side, never shared with third parties beyond the listed providers, and revoking the connection deletes the access token.
Who Marqeting shares with
To run the Marqeting app we send data to:
- Anthropic — prompts and writing samples are sent to the Claude API to generate drafts and score voice match. Anthropic does not train on API data by default.
- OpenAI — image-generation prompts are sent to DALL-E for hero and ad imagery; embedding requests for the in-app companion search.
- Supabase — Marqeting's database and auth provider.
- Vercel — Marqeting's hosting and serverless execution.
- Cloudflare R2 — storage for generated images and uploaded brand assets.
- Resend — transactional email delivery.
- PostHog — product analytics (events only, no writing content). Configured cookieless on public pages: no PostHog cookies or localStorage are set until you create an account. Respects Do Not Track.
- Stripe — payment processing for paid plans.
- Connected social platforms — when you connect Instagram or TikTok, content you publish through Marqeting is sent to those platforms via their official APIs.
Your rights
You can export everything you've created in Marqeting as JSON at any time from inside the app. To delete your workspace and all associated data, see Data deletion — deletion is irreversible and removes data from live systems within 7 days and from backups within 30 days.
For GDPR / CCPA requests (access, portability, erasure), email privacy@marqeting.io. Marqeting responds within 30 days.
Cookies
Marqeting uses a session cookie to keep you signed in once you create an account. Public marketing pages (homepage, blog, pricing, comparisons, tools, etc.) do not set analytics cookies or write to localStorage — analytics on those pages runs in memory only, so no persistent tracking takes place before you sign in. Marqeting does not use advertising cookies, anywhere.
Changes
We'll update this Privacy Policy when we change Marqeting's practices. Material changes will be announced in-app and by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
